PROGENY MAKE AN IMPRESSION ON DEBUT IN JAPAN
TOP STAR SUN & JAZZ ETUDE, progeny of sire I AM INVINCIBLE have both had a cracking start in Japan by winning their debut outings.
These two early performers were entrusted to Muskoka Farms for their breaking in and education preparation whilst Churchill Equine was contracting to Muskoka Farms. The joint effort produced two young horses ready to enter their professional racing careers with their Trainers with a great initial outcome.

STARSPANGLEDBANNER – STREET STORM COLT
This is a very interesting Pedigree. I see no reason why this wouldn’t work well. There is no inbreeding in the first five generations, it is an outcross pedigree (with a few exceptions in the sixth generation and beyond) so should bring some hybrid vigor into the progeny.
STREET STORM: The distaff side of her family is a very good one having produced black type winners in the first four generations. Her sire, Stormy Atlantic, has produced over one hundred black type winners. 6 Champions and has been leading sire of 2yr olds. He is a very versatile sire, most of his winners have been on turf. His sire Storm Cat has crossed well with Blushing Groom, Caro, his sire son Cozzene and Ogygian. All these stallions are in the first four generations of Street Storm’s dam side. They have produced Group and graded winners who themselves have gone on to be successful sires. Even though Caro was bred on sprinting lines from the Grey Sovereign family he produced many good horses who had stamina as did his son Cozzene. Zozzene was the Eclipse Champion Turf horse in 1985.
STARSPANGLEDBANNER: Gold Anthem, dam of Starspangledbanner has an interesting link with Stormy Atlantic, sire of Street Storm. She has 2 crosses of the 8c family and 1 of the 13c family. Stormy Atlantic also has the 8c and 13c family. Firstly Shecky Greene (SSB) and My Charmer (St Atlantic) both trace to the great mare Frizeur who is the dam of Seattle Slew, Seattle Dancer and Lomond. Wilkes (Gold Anthem) is also from another branch of this wonderful 13c family. Tell Meno Lies from the 8c family (4th line of Gold Anthem) traces to Cherokee Rose, ancestress of Terlinhua, who is the dam of Storm Cat. This is a great combination of champion bloodlines. Danehill Dancer and Danehill have combined well Storm Cat and Seattle Slew as dam sires.
Starspangledbanner was a great racehorse and should prove to be just as good as a sire. The colt in question, has a background of speed but also some very good stamina influences. He could be a very good racehorse.
